Lead Position
Job Description
SolarPulse LLC is looking to hire an experienced and skilled solar installer to complete solar removals and resintallations. Ideal candidates are motivated team players with a strong work ethic and pre-exsisting knowledge of solar systems.
Qualifications
⦁ Valid driver’s license
⦁ Minimum 3 years of solar experience
⦁ Able to work outside year round
⦁ Experience in mechanical installations, general construction and ladder work
⦁ Experience with all types of hand-held and power tools
⦁ Basic understanding/experience with electrical wiring of AC and DC systems
⦁ Experience working on roofs, comfortable with heights
⦁ Experience in taking apart and reinstalling solar systems
⦁ Experience mapping arrays, installing racking, wiring junction boxes.
Responsibilities
⦁ This position will have the additional responsibility of guiding and coordinating fellow installers on a daily basis
⦁ Remove solar panels safely and efficently
⦁ Remove racking, seal penetrations
⦁ Apply weather sealing to roofing structure, building or support mechanisms
⦁ Assemble the racking, solar modules, panels or support structures as specified in project plan
⦁ Mechanical/structural mounting of racking, modules and electrical equipment
⦁ Working on residential and commercial roof tops
⦁ Pulling inventory for specific projects
⦁ Following layout of solar modules
⦁ Attend mandatory training sessions on new products, methodology and safety
⦁ Perform PV system service as required
